I enjoy writing poetry when I get yanked my inspiration. This piece i wrote during a more depressing time in my life. Let me know what you think!

Trying

I’m trying to fly, but my wings are tied down.

I’m trying to speak, but my mouth is sewn shut.

I’m trying to see, but my eyes have been blinded.

I’m trying to move, but these chains are to tight.

I’m trying to feel, but my heart is gone.
